Tony and Jared entered the mortgage industry in 2003 looking to develop a financial services practice that integrated their holistic perspective and community mindedness. The process of obtaining real estate financing in pursuit of the so-called “American Dream” can be one of the most enlightening activities. True, there is a “transaction” component to real estate financing, but the reality is that finances affect every area of our lives, all the more so when we are seeking a loan which will likely become the largest item on our financial balance sheet and literally obligates us to a piece of property long-term. From this integrated, whole-life perspective, Equity Design provides financial education and coaching apart from or in addition to obtaining a mortgage loan.
