I think the article is correct about our market. We are a fast growing city that continues to atract people, this along with our strict growth bounderies keeps Portland strong. I think the real estate future for Portland looks good.
I think what is impressive about Portland’s place in the ranking is the company it keeps. 3 of the other top five cities are large, world-renowned places (Charlotte being similar to Portland) which have large tourist bases and diversified economies.
People in Portland take pride in their place in the world on both a macro- and micro-scale. We are proud of our city and what it has become, and we take good care of our homes and are proud of them too as expressions of ourselves.
