100 Mile Thanksgiving
Join us Monday the 17th for our November Community Commons as we partner with the Real Wealth of Portland and explore local food through an economic justice lens. Representatives from Grocery Stores, Co-ops, CSAs will teach us where to buy local food. We will learn more about the amazing chefs we have locally and which locally owned restaurants they work at. We will bring community resources for growing your own food, and explore the social needs in Portland that deal with food and connect you to organizations that are taking action.
7-9pm with social time to follow. Buchan Meeting Room, First Unitarian Church, 1011 SW 12th Ave. Enter through alleyway on 12th.
